I built RoundRaise after one too many cap table spreadsheets.
RoundRaise is a cap table, data room and SEIS/EIS platform for UK startups. It doesn't match founders with investors. It gets your company ready for the ones you find.
Why RoundRaise exists
RoundRaise exists because fundraising shouldn't be a full-time job.
I founded the company to help early-stage founders spend less time wrestling with spreadsheets, PDFs, and disconnected tools, and more time building their businesses. The platform combines financial modelling with a live, conversational cap table, so founders can understand exactly where they stand and what a new round would do to their ownership, without needing a lawyer on retainer for every question.
What I built, and why it's built this way
Most cap table tools are databases with a nice interface. They tell you what you have. I built RoundRaise to tell you what it means.
You can branch your cap table to try a round before it happens, see the diff against your live table, and merge it when the round closes. Tell the agent what to change and it makes the change. SEIS and EIS are built in from the start, because that's the reality of raising as a UK company, and the data room, exit modelling and Companies House filings all read from the same live table.

Alongside building RoundRaise, I studied Accounting, Business Finance & Management at the University of York and worked in investment banking compliance. That experience influences how every feature is designed: practical, data-driven and useful for founders.
Where this is going
Next up is the legal side of a raise.
First, term sheet analysis wired into the cap table, so you can see what a term sheet does to your ownership before you sign it. Then document generation and signing. After that, a consistency check across your data room, cap table and legal documents, so the numbers an investor sees in one place match every other.
